Another day, another deadline
But I know I'll never do what needs done on time
Because my subconscious always finds something better
To distract myself from the reality of life
And it's driving me insane
Just whatever is keeping me from being productive in my brain
So I'll sit and rot away on my couch
Watching TV and there is nothing left to say

Because why do today
What I can put off until tomorrow and then not do anyway
Why do I stay
Sedentary and just let my train of thought run astray

It always comes back
And bites me in the ass
And teaches me to regret what I have done
Or what I haven't done
Yeah, it comes around
And slams me into the ground
And on my morale does a bombing run

Well I can never just stay focused
I jump from thought to thought like a bullfrog on caffeine
Constantly going through the same
Random tangent routine
Honestly, I'm only writing this
To get out of doing Spanish
Killing the next 20 minutes
Is something that I think that I can manage

Because why do today
